Here's a bg I intend to keep for a while. It's of a very good bomber from WW2. Not much to look at, but it'll get the job done. The B-17 has nothing on this bomber, except maybe armor and high altitude stability. The B-24 was the most built bomber, dropped the most ordinance, and could carry the same payload as the B-17 further and faster. You either loved this plane or hated it. I love it.

Not personally, but I've seen one in an air museum. Those things are a lot bigger than I thought. Damn fine plane if you ask me. Not the best, but it got the job done. You either hate it or love it and I happen to love it.

Depends on who you talk to really. It was a cantankerous bitch to fly in formation at high altitudes, didn't have near the amount of armour the b-17 had, but it did however outperform the b-17 at lower levels, was formidable when flying in formation, could take the same payload a b-17 could further and faster, could also be easily converted for other roles such as pathfinder, strategic bomber, sub hunter, ect. It was also the most manufactured bomber of ww2, dropped the most ordinance, and some other stuff I can't think of at the moment.
